Finally added the taller/wider Bighorn 2.0 tires n and Wheels with wider stance.
Was going to use the 28" BigHorns but they weigh 5-6 lbs more (due to a higher weight rating) for only a 1/4" gain in height over the 27" tires. Wanted the better ride so I bought the 27" tires - actually 27.75" so it only cost a quarter inch and saved a couple bucks on the price and over 20 lbs unsprung weigh on four tires. Went with 11" wide all around for wider square stance - I personally prefer the square stance. I left the 1.5" spacers on the rear. None on front.
So tire size is: 27 x 11R-12. See Honda SxS previous post on 12" vs 14" wheels.-"Nuff Said"
$136 ea - $174.75 with tax no freight plus $50 rebate
Wheels: ITP Delta Steel 2"+5" 4/110 12mm for studs $43 ea -$544 with tax no freight plus $50 rebate on them
New Wheelbase width: 60" Front / 61" Rear - This b**** is gonna sidehill like the big boys! LOL!
Back to 50" with a tir4 change!!!
Pics showing: original Maxxis on stock wheels /The BH 2.0 Wolvy take-offs at 35-40% tread on Wolvy wheels / New BH 2.0 on ITP 2+5 wheels
Various views around the P5 showing clearance and stance
Tires have 4.5 psi rear and 4.0 psi front
Have lots more pics if needed, questions are welcome.
