My father and uncles told me a little about that, but I appreciate your input and the article. Very interestingMany German and Italian prisoners were sent to Fort Reno Oklahoma, not too far from where I live. It was an old Calvary post and used as a Pow camp during WWII. It is an interesting tour, and has a cemetery of German and Italian prisoners who died while living there. They were well treated and some even returned after the war and became american citizens.
