It's about an hour north of New Orleans:

Not sure how much more land they were able to get since I haven't been out there in a while. Really nice park though as far as amenities go. Trails aren't anything worth driving any sort of distance for, but if you were in the area it's worth checking out.

Yeah but, add some good jambalaya and gumbo to the mix and it will be worth the trip.

Mostly mud for sure. I'm curious what they'll do with the extra land since they've got a ton of sand as well. They do sand bike drags and stuff out there. It would be cool if they tried to build up the land some so the new trails wouldn't be a mud hole, but not sure how feasible that is with what they've got.
