I would be interested in one of these spare tire setups for a Pioneer 700-4. I had one I was using that was attached to the back roll bars, but it eventually jolted off after 6 months. I would be interested to hear how your has worked out.

Would it be possible to get a basket to hold a 5 gal jerry can instead of the rotopax?

There's an upright for the tire and for the tool kit you could mount whatever you wanted to it as long as it's no wider than the RotoPax. There's not enough room to put a jerry can it would stick out past the taillight and hit the ROPS when you swung it open to use the bed. For those that deal with the DOT that's a problem. Everything has to mount between the tail lights and that is not a significant amount of real estate.

I shipped a skid to someone up nearAnchorage, it was more but wasn't too much more than lower 48. Should be close to same weight.

I've had a lot of big projects with short deadlines at work.
In the next week or two should have something posted.

LOL! You have obviously taken a page out of Honda’s Product release play book!! Always leave them wanting more!!

Nope just have had several very large projects with very short deadlines.

I do wish Honda would let the cat out of the bag!!!

Update:
No final pricing yet, we have been testing a few designs (that can be disassembled to ship, LARGE heavy box equals LARGE shipping bill) to see how well they hold up.
They didn't break but they vibrated and shook too much, so sooner or later it would have fatigued the metal.
Were building it to withstand those that could destroy an anvil with a rubber hammer.
I think we have a final design and its gonna be beaten on the next couple weeks. If it is solid then expect pricing and pictures to follow shortly.

UPDATE: Design is finalized, the monkeys with rubber hammers weren't able to damage this one.

It can broken down to ship, which means shipping cost should be GREATLY reduced.

Pricing will be available soon and pictures will follow.

I needed room to carry 4 people or 3 people and a full cooler so I had to get my Polaris repair kit, spare tire and recovery gear out of the back. I've been tinkering with this since before WindRock, I was hoping to be able to use it there but just didn't have the time to finish.

This was my solution. I went down to the metal supermarket, no kidding google it, it's a chain.
Bought some 1x3 tube, 1.5x1.5 tube and bought a spare tire carrier hinge online, because I wanted to be able to hinge it to use a dump bed for a deer or whatever. I mounted HDPE pieces to the uprights to keep the tire and RotoPax from wearing the paint off and causing rust. I also put HDPE between the pieces on the left end where I have the Allen bolt for now for the same reason and to reduce rattles and squeaks. I ordered a long T handle bolt but it's on it's way.

The tires are 28x10-12 Blackwater Evolution, I ordered a set of 5 so I could have a spare. They are true to size at 28.25" tall unweighted and 10.5" wide unweighted on a 7" wide rim.
