Isn't the oil change a mess, did you try changing it with the left rear wheel removed ? It makes changing the filters easier to see and replace. The two filter springs are easy to lose on your first oil change.

Well worth it. By the way, you didn't use a 14 mm socket did you, if you did you drained the subtransmision oil and probably over filled the engine.

That wouldn't be right either the Pioneer takes a 17mm for the Sub Trans

It's a 12 on the engine side and a 17 on sub.

Talons are 17 on all 3

The rearmost drain on a Talon is 12mm.

I stand corrected, they just changed the oil pan drain to a 17mm, not the oil tank.
