Have had the 1000 for 2 months now and have 5 miles on it. Still enjoy riding the p5 for the most part. Can now enjoy the best of both worlds. What is the most important mod to do first besides the vent lines. It is an 18 model with all the updates.

I think most of us here on this site and who drive Honda’s in general have a certain amount of desire to be prepared for things that could happen on the trail as I see most Honda’s with winches. I am amazed at the number of Polaris RZRs without winches or really any backup.

Skids are that one add on that is hard to do at first because they are under the rig where no one sees and where when you don’t really notice until after they have done their job. I just pulled and reinstalled mine and I am amazed at the abuse the have taken and how good they still look

I was a guy that thought I didn't really need skids and didn't get them for a while. Then after I realized how thin the rub rails are I needed skids badly. I installed a UHMW full one piece skid that covers everything front to back. Probably the best thing I've done to the machine. I also recommend a 4000 or 4500 winch. I haven't used mine a ton but when you need it, it's worth it's weight in gold.

Welcome to the forum.
