I did the 1000 shock upgrade in my 2018 700-4.
Totally happy with results and ease of doing swap.
Used RB3 bushing kit in front and did some custom grinding to make attaching areas work to my satisfaction instead of bending brackets.

Before and after photos and tool used.

Thanks to Bob and all!

Awesome! That shock upgrade is probably my next move on my 700.... Were you following a recent thread or one of the older ones?

Just older threads and comments.
I have not taken to woods yet for full analysis yet.
But happy so far.
Had SXS home for yearly services....
Coolant, oil, diff, air filter, spark plug, brake fluid flushes and changes .

curious - so you are above stock ride height by changing the shocks and cv angle?

Correct
By about an inch plus.
Was not really wanting to raise, wanted better ride, little softer, more subtle on bumps for us vintage people.

You are in my neck of the woods. I am up in Pasco. Keep an eye out in the South ride thread we are trying to get a group ride together

Been wanting to go to Ocala natl Forest and ride.
Thanks for the info!
Nice Job!

Ocala (North & South) have been my only rides here. Some of the trails can get a little tight. My wife wont go without the window nets.

If you get a chance and haven't been go to rancho. Good riding and some cool areas but it can get a little wild out there

Oops
On my first post, I forgot to mention the 6 case hardened 12 mm spacers shims, I used to shim up the rear shocks to make the rear shock mounts the correct thickness to fit rear shock mount brackets.
2 shims up top
1 shim on bottom

Have another question I ordered the shocks on Ebay .I used the part number that i got on here 51400-HL4-A15 and the shocks i got all have the adjustment on them for stiffening up or loosening the ride. My friends 1000 doesn't have the adjustments on his. On the box it says monster shocks do you know if these are right or if they will work.like to know so I can send them back if they won't work.
