Hi,

This is my first post. Just got a 2019 p500 2 weeks ago and love it.

First ATV / UTV. I am a complete newbie to this world.

I have a deal on a set of 4 of these 14x8 rims but not sure if they are right for me.
MOOSE UTILITY DIVISION WHEEL 393B 14X8 4/110 4+4

They are 4+4. Is that ok?

What size tire should I get?

Do i stick to getting 12" rims and taller/wider tires?

thanks

Congrats on the new rig hyejack and welcome. I went with 12” diameter rims as I wanted more side wall for a smoother ride. My rims are 5-2 and currently running Kenda HT Radials in 27 tall x 11 wide on 12” rims on all 4 corners of machine. Really like them, recommend radials for sure smoother ride, better traction. Same size front to back means you can rotate them for better wear and I like the look.
Cheers happy riding!

Hi Haejack I live in sentral Mississippi and I have 14in reems because we ride a lot in water and sand and the larger wheels keeps the sand and gravel from paking around the front brack calipers and it makes the brack last longer. It all depends on the the tipe of terrain u ride in. I have a 2016 P500 and the longer I have it the better it gets :);)

Welcome aboard from Northeast Texas! Those are some good looking wheels, for sure. JCart gave some very good advice that I would follow if I was needing any wheels and tires.

thanks for the welcome.

I passed on the rim deal... nice rim wrong size.
I will be following JCart's advice

Cheers

Thinking of putting my 27s with 14 inch rims on the wifes 420 Rancher IRS, and going back to stock rims with aftermarket 27 radials. Local USFS doesn’t like my current 54 inch width on restricted trails. What is your width @JCart ?

Was wondering how tippy will 26 inch tires make the 500. Getting ready to get some new tires just can't decide on 25 or 26

I had 25s on my 500 , I should have went 26. It would have been much better for it.
