Removed the old tr sensor... It's definitely toast. Not sure how it worked at all... The inside contact was broken and loose. The new one arrived today and of course, it's the wrong one. Found another one online and ordered it. Slowly getting there...

Sinxe the gears weren't aligned properly, you probably crushed it putting the reduction gears cover back on

Got an email saying the new sensor was delivered. Should be there waiting for me when I get home. I'll throw it in and see how it goes... Guessing I will need to do another clutch relearn. No biggie.

It works! Shifts great. Auto and manual. Downshifts easy when I punch the throttle. Now to address the small oil leak and button up the skid plates, plastic pieces, etc.
