Here are a few night pics with the interior lights only. We were having fun with it.

Ok so I didn't like the little YTX-20L battery that with longer winch pulls would beat the death out of it.
So out came the battery and tray, in its place is a 350cca lawn equipment battery with a new aluminum battery tray with retaining clamp I had to make.
It is a tighter fit but does fit well and even dragging my Rincon with the parking brake set for 40 feet uphill on one of our gravel drives to the barns with the lights and radio going I never saw less than 12.7 volts.
So I figure that was a success.
All of my wiring projects are done for now.
The addition of the Pk1 front shocks I believe helped with the weight of the winch and battery.
Flogging it around the property hitting snow banks and bashing through a drainage ditch never bottomed it or gave me any concern.
One phase of this build is done now onto other things like tires and who knows what.

So I decided to go ahead and do a snorkel before I had some sort of a tragic event and to also help keep the factory filter cleaner than every other ride.
I was not receptive to the snorkel that came out in the passenger side and since I skin trees often outside was not a option.
This is my solution. Minimal bends and easier than walking to do.
I need to paint it black and wait for my rubber insulated clamps to come in so I can mount it properly along with a new clamp on K&N filter.
2-1/2 holesaw a couple tubes of silicone and a 2" conduit nut along with a few PVC parts and all was done in 45 minutes.
Then a 2" cap with a couple layers of tape sealed up the factory intake boot.

Got my K&N filter and made a few changes that I like better.
Any input is appreciated, what do you the membership think.
It does not interfere with the use of the back seats nor the bed.
The machine seems to be a little more responsive and a touch more quiet from the drivers seat at least.
I am 5 foot 11 and sat in the back seat and did not find the sound to be objectionable.

How have you liked the P1000 shocks?? Just bought a 700-4 and after 120 miles I’m already ready either P1000 or commander shocks, had a lot of bottoming the stock shocks out.

Ok so I have dimensions, sorry for the delay.
The plug to fill the original intake location is a 2" cap with two or so wraps of tape and a very light coat of silicone, install in the intake boot and clamp.

Going to the back of the airbox I just found a good flat spot and centered my hole saw approximately 2.5 inches off of the bottom, cut a hole I don't remember the hole size just large enough to clear the threads on a 2" thread to 2" glue female and run a 2" electric conduit nut up tight and silicone all the way around to seal good.

Glue in a 3.5" long piece of 2" for a 2" rubber coupler to tighten down on and make removal easy.

2" rubber coupler
3.5" piece of 2" to 90 degree elbow with 2" long piece of 2" to another 90 degree elbow

7" long piece of 2" to a 90 degree elbow to a 16" long piece of 2" to a 90 degree elbow to a

36.5" long piece of 2" to a 45 degree elbow to a 10" long piece of 2"

Top off with a 2" I.D K&N filter with an outerwear pre-filter.

Mine was mounted with zip ties till I got everything fitted the way I wanted it, I used a Sharpie just to make a few lines to line up each joint after fitment was set.
Take apart one joint at a time and glue, after everything dried and I was good it came off in one piece painter with Krylon paint for plastic and re-installed with rubber insulated clamps I found from another project in the barn.

Hopefully this is what you wanted @JimmyA if not just let me know.

Makes me wonder if you could eliminate the airbox entirely. Attach the snorkel directly to the throttle body.

I do believe you could do that physically, the only concern I might have is will the lack of an airbox and the volume it holds make a difference under hard acceleration?
On the other hand it would be easy to put the airbox back in and run it if needed.
