P700 2014 vs 2016 700-4

Hello all. I am looking at a 2014 700-4 that a friend has for sale. It has 100 miles on it. I can get a pretty good deal on it. Before I buy it however, I am trying to figure out what is the main diff between the 2014 and 2016. I am about 99% sure I will go with his 2014 instead of buying new.

I am hoping some of you smart guys on here would be able to help me out with that. What is the main diff between those?

Shocks on the new one are a little better as they are two stage and the engine has two spark plugs, otherwise unchanged.

I am not for sure. But I was told by someone that was told by a dealer that the 16's have a lower gear ratio on 1st gear. Something like 15%lower than the older ones.. Can any one verify if this is fact or fiction?

All the part numbers seam to be the same. Could this be true for the 17s that are yet to be released?

Time will tell,so far I have not heard or read that anywhere on the 2017s
