Hi, I need to replace a front diff input pinion seal. Can this be done in place? Can the front propshaft come off in place? or must the front diff be undone and moved forward?
I also need to replace the rear propshaft boot next to the rear disc, can that also be done in place or must the rear diff be moved back to get the shaft out? thks

The front diff has to come loose to get the shaft out.

Same on the rear. They don't have to be "removed", but they do have to be slid back/forward in the frame.
