2019 Pioneer Takeover ITINERARY and INFO!

Here is the general itinerary for the [HASHTAG]#PioneerTakeover[/HASHTAG].

Clift notes version of below info.

Check-In at RV spot # 6 & 7
Look for RED HondaSxS Tent!
Check-in times. But stop by anytime you see someone there

• Friday meet at the top of the world for sunset.
• For those looking to group ride to the Top of the World. Meet at the stage at 6:30-7:00pm.
• Sunset is around 8:00, Hang out for a while and check out rides.
• 10pm HFAHWA meeting.
  
  
• Saturday group rides starting around 9. leaving every 1/2 hour up until 11.
• Saturday 5pm @ STAGE for meet and greet, BBQ, and raffle.
• BBQ served 5:30-7.
• Door prizes drawing at 7pm.
• 10pm Night rides and HFAHWA meeting.

Check-In at RV spot # 6 & 7

• Thursday 9-10am.
• Friday 9-10am.
• Saturday 9-11am (tent may move to stage area)

Wed/Thursday

• Early birds explore the area as you wish.
  
• Maps available at the general store.
  
• Or, download Maplets app for easy mapping.

Friday

• Morning/Mid day - Open Ride: Self-organized groups to explore the area as you wish.
• May have several group rides pop up. Keep eye on forum details.

Friday evening - Sun Set at Top of World!

• 5-6pm. Meet and Greet located at the shelters by the entrance of the park. Great time to check out other people's ride.
• Leave for the night at 7pm.
• Head on your own or meet at the stage if you want to group ride.
• Sunset is at 8pm. Goal return time is 9pm.
• Friday goal is Top of the World trail # 30 stopping at the loop on #30. Looking at a 3 hour trip including a good break at top of #30.
  
• Trail Path: From RRB Trail 27, Left to19, R on 13, (Top of World) Stop and chill a bit, Continue on 30, R on 28, R on 29, R on13, R on19, L on 27 back to RRB. (See PT Map Talk)

Saturday - Day

• Due to the # of riders, we want to encourage independent groups to form and ride on their own!
• Check out the POI's topic. Cave, cool boulders, waterfalls. (See PT Map Talk)
• There is no way we can control 50+ units riding in a single group. We are asking that if you are capable of self-guiding a group please do. Please see our edited map for some great POI's. (map coming soon)
• For those riders that wish to have a guide will split into 3-4 groups.
• Wishing no more than 10-15 machines per group. Groups may split further once down the trail to better control the ride.

We are looking for a few group leaders. Someone that has driven RRB before or can read a map well and willing to guide a group please contact @Hondasxs for details.

Group rides start at 9 am "ish"! Meet at the stage or see check-in-tent for signup.

Saturday - Evening Meet-n-Greet - 5pm - 9?

• Meet at the stage by the trailhead at Ride Royal Blue Resort.
• BRING YOUR PIONEER! This is a great time to check out everyone's Ride!
• BRING A CHAIR, Camp chair should work great.
• BYOB! I
• BBQ 6:30-7pm. BBQ, slaw, beans, tea, water, dessert.
• Door prize drawing just before dark. Tickets are 2/$5 or 5/$10....
• Meet, chill, and talk around the fire until...?
• Stay until??? but Quite time is @11 per park rules so turn down the radios!

Sunday

• Anyone staying the day can meet up at the stage to plan a ride if you wish!

@Hondasxs - I recently got an email from RRB that talked about a new area - that people should try for an event weekend at the end of May - not sure if it is something being built specially for the event in May or just something new - but could be cool if open when we are there.
