P700 2020 700-4 hunting build

I was not able to make them work. I am guessing the tabs are not deep enough to twist/lock in place. I forced them a few times and still nothing? Sent the bulbs back and moved on to other projects.

10-4, thanks for the reply. I messed with them until I knew I was fixing to break something and then gave up. It's good to know someone else has had this problem. Maybe just a QC problem on their part.

cloleson, I had the exact same problem and returned them and decided to just wait until I could go with a full lightbar.

I had the same problem with the bulbs I slightly enlarged the hole in the housing with a Dremel tool and they slid right in and then turned and locked.

How do you like the Kolpin gun racks and which models do you have exactly?
I was looking at those since Cabelas sells them and I have a bunch of points saved up but haven’t made up my mind yet

Don't mean to high Jack the thread but I use these and love them! Cheap but effective! And I like the adjustability of them...they grip the gun quite well but the rubber straps tend to break...I use the piece of wire wrapped in rubber tie down thingys you can buy at most hardware stores instead! I'll snap a pic when I get a chance

Also those bulbs seem to work in newer models but not in later ones...I called honda about the full led head light housings and they were for 2017 and up...not my 2016 so I'm wondering if the housings changed in 2017?🤔 Any thoughts? I'd like to go led but don't want a light bar! Kiss!

Thanks. I was wondering because the rack from RB3 Off-road looks really nice but it’s quite a bit more expensive than the Kolpin options. Being down in the middle of the bench seat would be a lot easier and faster for access no doubt but might also get in the way a bit. Though there’s not much else use for the middle of the bench seat with the rigid seatbelt buckles in the way already.

I used a bag style the first season and didn't like the idea of putting my wet rifle into a bag! Moose season in ak is usually pretty wet...when the straps started ripping from the bag after one season I tossed it...bounced around so much I shot at a moose at 100 yards and completely missed it! And these things are huge! I ran back to the wheeler and grabbed my 375 h&h out of the ridgid kolpin mount and dropped it in it's tracks...if you go bag style spend some money on a heavy duty one!

I've had water over the seat on multiple occasions so that option won't work for me but I like how ridgid it is!

Lights in. Quick install (10 min.). Lights are fanless design, plug right in, no fit issues with light sockets just insert and twist. They do not interfere with the dust cap, about 3/4" between cap and back of light. They put out a nice white light (not blue). Yes, they are bright!!
