Would I have bought it given the chance? Probably not, I can count on less than 1 finger the times I've thought I need adjust the suspension on the fly. I've seen these type of systems come and go in the last 20 years in the snowmobile market but they don't end up sticking around, maybe the live valve will be different.

The one case where on the fly adjustment is nice was demonstrated to me when I was test driving a RZR XP Pro Ultimate. They have what is essentially a panic button on the steering wheel. Was moving about 50 and came up on a deep washout. Nailed that button and brakes then let off brakes right before impact at about 30 and smooth .... went back and hit at 30 without hitting the button and a huge difference ...

The only thing I can see is if they use the same spring rates, live valve or not, I think they will still ride rough at low speed. I am getting ready to send my shocks to Weller Racing for the springs and a revalve.

Live valve is different, though, than a simple remote adjuster setup to turn the clickers. It has a separate ECU that monitors various inputs and continuously varies the damping, compensating fore and aft for accel and decel, and left and right for cornering, etc. As stated, whether they have wised up on the spring rates remains to be seen.

The Talon X 4 Live Valve looks good and the tender spring cross over rings will have some good adjustment available if necessary.

In a word, YES, I would have paid the extra for Live Valve on my 2-seat X model. That being said, I won't be trading up any time soon. Now, if they came out with a reasonably-priced conversion kit? Perhaps, but that's extremely unlikely. Upgraded suspension on my 2-seater gets my attention much more than turbos do.

Besides the Live valve and launch control - I wonder if there is any other new features/changes we have not see before that will be incorporated in to the LV versions.

Like a factory installed turbo kit? Or do you think that will just be a dealer installed "accessory" option?
