Ok, so is anyone keeping 2 different size tires like from the factor(front 27x9, rear 27x11)y when they order new ones? I just ordered GBC Mongrel 28x10-14 10- ply DOT tires for both the front and rear( i am going street legal).

A big portion of the guys go to one size and there are definitely benefits. Mainly in having a spare. Also more floatation.
Personally I like the lighter feel of skinnier fronts and it seems to cut a lot better on turns. Just depends on what someone likes better

@CumminsPusher has a good point. Your riding style is what makes the difference. I run 28x10x14's on all four corners. No spacers, no lift, and stock suspension. But I prefer to kick back, cruise easy, and take in the views. Also I can rotate the tires for longer wear, got 4600 miles and plenty of tread left. If I was more into handling and cutting the turns I'd do as @CumminsPusher suggested. Again, riding style kinda dictates tires as well as any others mods.

I busted an 8 ply stock skinny rim tire, 3rd front stock size tire I busted, went 30 X 10 X 14 all the away around and have as of yet to have a flat, running 2nd set now. But I hammer down on the rocks.

I am keeping my stock wheels just switching to DOT tires.
I found a loophole in Oklahoma law that do to the 1000-5 having a tilt bed I can register it as a mini truck.

I will be keeping stock tires and mounting them on black steel rims for off-road use. I bought 2 inch rear spacers and 1.5 for the front(read on this forum it help with not feeling so too heavy), why did you choose to not use them?

The one size tires will be for street use only. Keeping stock tires to mount on cheap steel rims to destroy on trails, mud and rocks.

I really like the tusk terrabites which are dot. I kept the same size offset as stock with the wider rear, and rounded front. But I don't street much. I just carry a front for a spare.

I'm sure someone will disagree but to me spacers aren't really needed, more for looks to keep it asymmetrical. I've been on group rides that included technical trails. Some guys had spacers, some didnt. Everyone made it through just fine with no damage or problems. I learned to drive with a clutch and three on the tree, so I'm old school. Maybe spacers are great, but personally I haven't needed them.

Right there with ya! There are positives but do get stuck easier and becomes more fragile too. However like you mentioned earlier different areas and different styles

Ok I am going to go to 30s on all 4 corners. I am buying new rims to. The stock rims have an offset of 5+2 on the front and 5+3 on the rear. I want to use the same spare for everything. So should I go with the 5+3 offset then or the 5+2?

Thanks it is confusing to me.
