I think either one will be fine.[QUOTE="Smitty335, post: 787497, member: 58
That's all wrong. I cant remember the offset but u have 6.5 inch wide wheels on the front and 8 inch wide wheels on the rear..Ok I am going to go to 30s on all 4 corners. I am buying new rims to. The stock rims have an offset of 5+2 on the front and 5+3 on the rear. I want to use the same spare for everything. So should I go with the 5+3 offset then or the 5+2?
Thanks it is confusing to me.
14s may both be 7s but the 12 inch steel are as I quoted. I thought the 14s were the same as the 12s.
Now that I look at that chart, I know its wrong because of what it says about the 12 inch wheels. Ive changed them multiple times on 2 machines and almost 10,000 miles between the 2. But I cant state for sure about the 14 inch wheels. I'm 100% sure on the 12s.
Thats just a recommendation chart or something. It's not OEM.
I will know for sure as I just got new tires and will measure the rims once I get tires off. I also found this article about specs on Honda SXS.Thats just a recommendation chart or something. It's not OEM.
That article says the front is 5+2 offset but its a 6.5 inch rim. Math just doesn't work that way. 5+2=7.I will know for sure as I just got new tires and will measure the rims once I get tires off. I also found this article about specs on Honda SXS.

Thats not honda numbers but it will work. You will never know the difference. Also the bolt pattern is 4/136 but 4/137 will work. The chart below is my model. This is the stock set up. The LE is different than the other p1000 models.

Thanks . I want to be as close to factory width as possible. When I read about how you come up with what the width will be etc I get confused. I really appreciate all the input and help. The wheels are $$$ so I don't want to make an error that could have been avoided. Can you walk me thru what my final width will be if I do the 5+2 in the front and I will do a 1" space and 5+2 in the rear. Should probably also note that I have purchased the satv 1.5" offset front A-arms.Thats not honda numbers but it will work. You will never know the difference. Hopefully someone else comes along and tells you for sure. I just used my stock wheels and put 28x10x12s on them. It made me 1 inch wider in the front and 1 inche more narrow in the rear. I added 1 inch spacer in the rear to even it out. Everyone here that uses the 5+2 offset wheels either run a 1 inch or 1.5 inch spacer in the rear to even it out. Someone else thats using that may chime in.Thanks . I want to be as close to factory width as possible. When I read about how you come up with what the width will be etc I get confused. See this is why I made this thread. I can not get anyone to give the true specs on rim width, can not find any article or chart that is agreed apon being correct. That's all wrong. I cant remember the offset but u have 6.5 inch wide wheels on the front and 8 inch wide wheels on the rear..
Most folks will get 5+2 backspace rims all around, and put a 1" spacer on the rear. This will get you close to the same width for the fronts and rears. 30" tires will rub, primarily in the front, unless you add a lift and/or install forward offset a-arms in the front. Others here would be able to advise. Some 30" tires may not rub, depending on real world diameter and pressure when mounted. Thanks . I want to be as close to factory width as possible. I put a set of System 3 350 tires 28x10x14’s on system 3 7”-5x2 wheels on my P1k5 and they widened the front out to 65-1/2” and the rear to 63-1/2”. So far no problems. I was going to add 1” spacers to the rear but they have the wrong thread pitch and am waiting to get the right wheel studs. Thanks . I want to be as close to factory width as possible.
