I normally get the Beaofang UV9R handheld. They are not industructable or completly waterproof, but have worked well in the past. I ask $50 each and they will be charged,programmed with the channels the group uses.

Might be a dumb question but this is our second TO but new to riding with big groups with multiple radios. Wondering if these radios will work with the Rugged Radios V3 Dual Band?

I forgot to mention the Alien Shade is a lot quieter than a hard roof, you'll like it if it's not raining. Nice Buggy!
