20ft trailer

Tilt decks are nice till you need to load two pieces of equipment safely. Especially with the ones that have a front apron that needs to have a portion of the load over to keep the tail from falling.

I have a aluminum 18’ plus 2’ dove tail with ramps. I have to back on my pioneer when hauling it plus my dad’s Kawasucky Mule to keep the bumpers from rubbing in the middle.

I wish I had the 20’ plus 2’ dovetail version of my trailer at times.

Agree with <> LOADING issue with GRAVITY Tilt & 2 machines <> still need ramps to load Safely <> & No Extra deck space.
You nay have missed <> POWER TILT <> Use the Remote <> " NO PROBLEM <> LOADING 2nd. Machine.
Plenty if power loads compact tractor & all attachments Weight is north of 4800 lbs.plus.<> puts the 7k trailer at max load.

Can be purchased up to 24ft. & still have the extra 2ft. Stationary deck. = 26ft total.

These are Well balanced <> axle is set a little toward the rear compared to the Non Tilt <> the hang over at front apron you mention is ""NOT Necessary"" although can be the option is there if the rear machine requires the balance moved

I currently have an 18ft trailer and was looking to upgrade. I have a 1000-5 and my son has a Canned-HAm Commander 1000xtp. A couple of friends also have another 1000-5 and a Canned-HAm Defender. I was looking for a trailer that I could haul two at a time. I think according to my measurements that they will fit on a 20ft trailer unless I'm missing something. Does anyone use a 20ft trailer? Any thoughts good or bad?

Ironic that you should ask that. My youngest son has a Commander 1000 and I have a Pioneer 1000-3. We just got back from the TO and used a 20 ft trailer. We have an 18 footer but it was about 18 inches too short. A 20 foot trailer will work perfectly. We pulled it with a 2016 Ram 4 Door 1500. Had 3 people and clothes,food,coolers,ramps,tools,chairs,and anything else we might need. At 72 mph we got 10.5 mpg with a Hemi 8 speed with a 3.92 gear.

Does your trailer have stake pockets? If so maybe make some extensions for the sides if you’re handy with a welder and load the Honda sideways on your 18’ trailer?

I see this done to utvs a lot in my area…

I think a sxs is too long to load sideways due to the width it would be.

18’ with two Talons on 32’s had to get creative and again with Pioneer and Talon. Around 5k miles with that setup and zero issues. 20’ should be just fine and 22’ would be perfect

I would recommend 22ft minimum. 24ft would be ideal. You may change machines in the future and may need the extra 2 ft.

I would go 24ft. Any extra space I had would probably get a box up front for tools/parts.
