I should have measured last time it was in the bed. It felt like there was only 2-3" clearance between the wheel wells. I guess if it rubs I can figure out how to deal with that.

I bet, you will be fine!

By the dealer? I noticed mine really didn't want to order me the bighorns.
I ended up going through Rocky Mountain but when I went to the dealer they did try to steer me to something else. I had not done the research at that point so I cant say what it was they wanted me to get.

On another note, does anyone know what the stock set of wheels and times with 100+/- miles on them are worth?

Yeah.. I'm not sure what the deal is.. I'm guessing they don't have much markup on bighorns. I've heard several people being directed else where.

Well, I hope I did not screw up. I just ordered 26x9 and 26x10's on 5-2 ITP SS's. If they dont fit in the F250 I am in big trouble.
How'd they work out. I've got 51.5" between wheel wells. With 5-2 offsets, you'll likely not fit, but over inflating tires will help. They get wider when under inflated.

I dropped two pieces of 4x6 by a foot long at the wheel wells. This boosts the wheels up from mashing the 5-2 offset rims on the wells. Also if you set the 4x6 just right they help chaulks the tires. For a simple set up get a sheet of pressure treated plywood 3/4" thick is what I used. On the cab end I used really long screws to attach a 4x4 by 4ft across the front of the sheet, with a small set back to keep machine from hitting the cab. This with above 4x6 by foot longs is what I use to haul my P5. I put ratchet straps on the front over each front wheel and attach to upper A-arm, then back to D ring in box. Rear is similar, over wheel to frame tubes them ratchet to rings close to floor in bed. P5 suspension flexes, machine is held secure, hooking not over tire but to body flexing causes ratchets to fall off. This is on an OBS 96 powerstroke short box extra cab, tailgate down.

Tires are 26 by 11 by 12 dia on all four corners and fit in box no problems, using above.

What's your plan for mounting that spare?
No definite plan yet, few options, front bumper, rear basket, but for now I'm leaning towards welding similar mount like for p 1000 , with cooler basket, but on steel clamps but not movable . Depends on what jack I will buy too. Will post once done in my build thread. But I bought trilobites, 26*9*12 even I have BH 2, bc cheaper( 1 bh 2 tire = 1 trilobite tire plus itp steel wheel), 9 " wide lighter, and it will be true spare not replacement tire. Since next tires will be 27" with frame mod.

Nice, when you make your final decision we'll be waiting for the pics. :)

I have 26 11 12's bighorn 2.0's on all four corners (factory rims) and I can still put it in my Ram 1500. They rub the wheel wells a little but she fits. I have pictures on here some where.

I'm optimistic. My math says the 5-2's make the wheels just 1" wider. Going from 8" tire to a 9" tire will add 1/2" per so another 1" for the set. 2" total if I'm right should not be a challenge. Even if they rub a little I would think you could ram it in there.

If not I will build some sort of contraption that help it get over the top of the wheel wells. Sales meeting is over so I fly home in the morning. By tomorrow night we will know for sure.
