Getting ready to put my 29" bighorns on and I want to know how much top speed would be lost with that tires. I really can't afford to loose much more. I'm topped out at 64/65 with 27" bighorns. And I'm also thinking about the shift points. How much does running larger tires affect the shift points in automatic mode. Ideally I would like 28's but 29's is what I have..

You must be using a highway mostly. Pretty sure mine has never seen top speed.

Really don't know how to respond? 64 MPH? But the larger tires will give you a smother ride on trails, where 25 MPH is hauling A.

I’ve got 29” Maxxis Vipr’s. I went from 66/67 to the speedo showing 61/62. But I’m sure it’s not reading completely accurate with the larger tires. I’ve never had anyone pace me to see, but now that you ask I might. Whatever I may have lost in top end was well worth it.

Are the 29s fitting without a lift?

Before I started living like a gypsy I lived in Fayetteville, then Mac county MO. My wife and I were actually riding Mulberry the week before the club was there this year, but I had to be in Nebraska that weekend... :( I see a few guys here live in NWA. I’m sure I’ll get to meet you all in person soon enough!

Are you hitting the Rev limiter at 62mph or is that as much as it will pull?

That’s all it’ll pull I think. After 58mph it climbs pretty slow.
