3d printed led cage clamp

I drew and printed these two piece clamps. Instead of a nut and bolt to clamp them together I used two of these lights from Amazon per clamp. Real simple and clean design to give you interior dome lights and rear cargo lights. The leds are tipped at a 20 degree angle forward and backward, not just pointing straight down.

I can put this file up on thingiverse too. Only works for a 2" roll bar obviously. A couole wraps of electrical tape and it grips perfectly. I'm probably gonna make a few more sizes of clamps for single lights and use them underneath for rock lights.

Just be careful not to overtighten them because the head will pop off...i had several on my machine that have done that

Out of about 20, I've only had one that the head popped off of. Wasn't sure if it was a dud or what, but interesting to know I wasn't the only one lol.

I can't sell um, my 3d printer belongs to work, but I can definitely send you the file if you can find a printer to use. Sometimes community colleges or highschools are just looking for practical things to print if you have any connections?
