I’m looking at keeping all my Honda seats and just adding this bump seat up front for my 6yr old to have a better view. For now she rides in the rear but has limited view. I don’t really need the “extra seating” I want to buy it for two different reasons, her visibility but also cause she’s small so this harness seems safer than the standard shoulder/lap belt. After she out grows it, I will keep it Incase my older kids make me a grandpa lol

no special mods... simply install using the factory hardware and the included bracket.

I have not changed anything.

Remove the center console from the rear and slap in the seat.

Harnesses attach to oem seatbelt attachment locations/harness bar.

Did you end up making a cover for whatever is under that console? What is under there, haha?

Any specific reason for the X3 seat vs say and RZR? The reason I ask is because the RZR seat form UTVMA looks like it just as some flat rails underneath instead of pedestal type brackets.

No cover (the seat covers the back half)

I cut the console in half to reinstall the front half.

I only used the X3 seat because it was available locally for 1/3 of new cost.

I even got the front bump seat also with the deal.

I just need a bracket talon specific to make a 6 seater.

Wouldn't that fall under 'metalfab' - the last two thirds of yer screen name? If you can figure out portal installation, you can figure out seat brackets - we'll need pictures.

I’ve been in a rental house without a garage for 10 months waiting on my dream house.........
It really sucks.........

And bolting on portals is way easy........

That's sweet - Can you provide any more details as to the difficult of installing it? What exactly did you have to modify, and how easy would it be to switch back and from bench to bucket seats? Thanks!

Cut all the brackets off and ratchet strapped the seat in place. (Underneath)

the 3 sets af harnesses are all bolted and looped around the rollcage harness bar.

I had to cut the console to keep the part in front of the seat.

Plan on buying one for 2 seat re install.
