P1000 5p vs 3p shocks

I have a 2018 1000p. I would like to eventually upgrade shocks from my stocks to fox. I recently saw a set of used 5p fox shocks on eBay for 600 bucks much cheaper than brand new for 1300. Dose anyone know if 5p fox shocks will work in a 3p

I'm sure they'll bolt up but the spring rate is probably the difference. That'd be a damn good deal, If you dont want them send me the link. I have a 1000-5 and need shocks.

$600 is cheap. The spring is different from 3 to 5 but there are also other spring options available via aftermarket

I think a stiffer spring rate might be ok. Considering usually have a full cooler in the back and a chainsaw for every ride

That was my first thought. I'd be lying if I said I didnt go straight to ebay looking for them.

It was probably these cause they started the bid for $600. Still a dam good deal.
