Finally did it, I finally got all my material researched and ordered and installed an AUX battery and LED lights on my 700-4. A battery tray was built and 2 brackets were fabricated for the front LED.IMG 3982 zpsurdxfwmt IMG 3989 zpsknwvxbp3 The switches were cut into the dash and the blue "LED light" lable has power when the key is turned "on" and the "light bar" lights up when the switch is flipped and the LED light bars are turned "on'.IMG 3995 zps3gtxkxgj IMG 3996 zpspyy17bbl I added a battery isolator behind the seat belt buckles so that the "house" battery will always get charged and when its charged my "AUX" battery will get charged. IMG 4008 zpsoq8iqaof Added a dual switched battery meter so I can check either battery at anytime.

Couldn't get the pictures to go in right. Had a little trouble. Can't wait to get it out on the trails for some night riding. I'm headed up to Windrock Park, Ride Royal Blue, and Brimstone In TN on the 19-24 if anyone else will be there or can get free from work.

That looks good. Thank you for posting. I have the isolator and Aux battery ordered, hope to put them on this weekend.
I requested off work for the Honda takeover next month at royal blue. Can't wait to check it out!

Looks great. What are the dimensions of the battery plate?

I had the Plate for the battery cut at 18'" x 15" and then bent up on the 15" side at 8"....so the base is 18" x 8" and the back (upright) part of the plate is 18" x 7". On the front side of the plate it hits the plastics facing the front of the vehicle. They would be at the back of your legs while sitting. We cut down about 3" and over about an inch and a half i believe. If all that makes sense. The flat bar is 3" x 8" and we cut it down about an 1" or so once we got it bent and liked the placement of the 42" light bar. Hope this helps.

I spent about 4 hours mocking things up and getting a list together of things I needed to complete the job start to finish. And then spent the next day from 0900-2230 actually doing the work, only stopping for breakfast and dinner. Mock up, drilling, grinding, welding, painting, fitting, grinding, etc... and then running all the wires as hidden and together in wire loom as well as possible. Then drilling the dash and filing it down slowly so the switches fit tight and won't come out. Over all I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I only have about $300 in all the materials including lights, switches, metal, and miscellaneous.

I posted the Pictures I thought were relevent. There are a lot of ways to "skin a cat" so I figured no one needed to see me doing the work. Just the finished product.

Is there a place under the seat of the 700-4 where an aux battery can go without having to have one fabricated?
