P1000 A arm guards

Plan on getting arm guards for my 10005. Other than Honda oem guards was wondering which ones seem to be best for the money. Looked up some on eBay one that is aluminum has Honda cut out on the front ones but looks like they are held on by a u bolt has anyone used these.

I have those, they arrived right before I left home for a 7 week job in TX. Will install them after I get back home. Think they are made by S&S Fab, seemed well made.

Anyone with S&S have to trim the tab on the front ones? The tab that sticks towards the middle would have to go above or below my skid plate. So gonna have to cut it down.

Also think i saw something before that someone had to trim the rears after removing the sway bar? anyone run into this?

S&S sent me 2 rears for the same side as well... kinda wishing i would have gone with factory UTV ones at this point instead.

I haven't had to trim anything on mineexcept where I mounted the Jei tree kickers

Cut that piece off the arm guard I have his skids also Andi know there' not an issue the uhmw might be made wider right there trimming it off won' hurt anything

thats my plan. however im trying to get intouch with S&S which seems extremely difficult to do. They sent me the same side for the rear and need one for my back passenger side

I messaged S&S on Facebook before I even ordered them to see what the current version looked like. No response there (and still none). I responded to a picture on Facebook he posted and asked with nothing. I’ve emailed S&S directly and no response. I’ve also responded to the only way I’ve got ahold of him before which was through eBay. Sent message to him Sunday on there.

I would try calling...thats how i ordered mine. I had called before to ask questions and both times was able to get ahold of him

I know when I was ordering mine he had some family medical problems going on.

They are customized to fit. Little heat and custom brackets.

Just to follow up. Got ahold of S&S. There was a family issue that was completely understandable why he was hard to get ahold of. He is making me new ones for the front without the tab, and sending me a new rear for the correct side.

He also told me to keep the ones I have, So they will be donated to the Raffle at Takeover.

Not even sure if Shaun is still in business. Hes had personal problems that (judging by fb posts) have taken their toll. I no longer recommend him to folks. Last few times I did he blew it. And I take recommendations seriously. I may have a used full set to sell soon if interested.
