Where have you guys added zerks to your machines? I’m going to add some to my front upper a arm bushings. Considering the rear hubs, too. Any thoughts/pointers/pictures?

You both used different angled zerks. Is one more accessible than the other? Or was it purely what was on hand when it was done?

I didn't want my upper under the knuckle. Both spots work.

The SATV arms cover the top of the knuckle. I used the 90 on top to keep it away from the cv..
But a 45 would have worked in both spots.

@GlockMeister @ToddACimer Are you guys somehow adding grooves/scoring the metal sleeve inside the rubber bushing to give the grease a pathway between the metal and rubber? That's what @joeymt33 recommended and I've done for the front.

LOL ..... did not think about that. Did you just make multiple straight lines, or swerle it around shaft?

I just made sure I cut a groove from one end to the other so the grease could make it all the way out to the seals and push water out. I did not do any swirl pattern.

The way I looked at it is that if you pack the cavity with grease and run it, the temperature will allow the grease to flow into the bushings. When I first removed the pivot pins they came out with water. Adding the groove only makes it easier to get water to flow through.

I haven't compared grooved to not grooved but I know my knuckle cavity is packed with grease and I lubed the shafts going in

But it sure is nice to pump grease in there like I just did about 15 minutes ago and sometimes it does push water out. I don’t cut or groove the seal or seal cap. I just give the grease a path out to the seal.

Anything is better than the original set up. Mine were dusty dry and worn completely out.

On my 2016 the grease flowed a bit better with the pin wear
