P1000 Adjustable seat mod?

Anyone given any thought on an adjustable seat slide? My wife is short and cant reach the foot controls without sitting up towards the front of the seat, then she has no back support. Anyone have any ideas on a slide? I was looking at an old truck seat slide and thought I might try something like it.

I needed better back support so I installed a Teryx bucket seat back. It moves you forward about 1 1/2 inches. I stripped out the foam and used the Teryx seat frame. I cut the bottom part off for the seat base.
