Anybody here installed either of these "Adventure Racks" on their Talon? Both are sold by SuperATV, but one is made by Assault Industries and the other is SuperATV. Only a few dollars different (great sale price today).
My #1 concern is will my Milwaukee Packout boxes fit under these when locked down (including putting them on and taking them off).

I don't think height is a concern, as the Packouts I use stack lower that the top of the seat headrests and the tops of the Packouts are lower than that.

Two concerns on the Assault Industries model:

Will the bars that go down to the back of the cargo area prohibit me from taking my Packouts in and out?
I'll likely have to fabricate a couple of extensions for those bars at the bottom, as I think the Packouts would interfere with a straight drop to the mounting point (where the buckles are).

Thoughts? @SuperATV?

My Packouts (which can be rearranged or swapped out with bigger/smaller ones, of course):

Thanks in advance.

The first thing I notice is that the SuperATV shocks are out of the way not blocking cargo area like Assault.
I did see that, but it looks like the spots on the lower clamps where you attach the shocks protrude inward and might interfere with the Packouts (front corners).

They are both awesome. I was super impressed with how they turned out. I've only played with ours, but I've seen both installed. Its hard to tell without standing them side by side which one offers more room.

I'm with highpocket74, thinking that ours will be a little easier with your packouts because of the cage clamps vs. the Assault tall struts. I doubt you'll have any issues with the lower clamps on ours, but its hard to say for sure without getting your exact packout setup.

I'm sure it can be made to work either way.

Thanks, everyone.

Thr 30% off sale ends tonight so I have to pull the trigger on one of them. I also have $100 off in Rider Rewards and a $100 gift certificate. So ~$398 OTD shipped.

I've got some weldable collars, so if I have to fab something up, so be it.

Thanks in advance.
It looks cool but $$$
Seen one at US127 motorsports in person. Was impressed with the robust construction durability. It also lifted the spare tire it had on it with ease.
Looked like pack outs if you didn't have
A ton of them would fit fine underneath.
If i had the money to burn at the moment with any sale id do it.

Got the Assault Industries version. It was 25% off plus I had another $100 in Rider Rewards plus I had a $100 gift certificate. $398 OTD shipped. May have to fab something where the lower end of the shocks mount due to interference by the Packouts ... will see.

I really like this concept. The SuperATV version.
But I personally see it would impede my pack out usages.
And I use the packout system A LOT for camping and such.
Which sucks.
Can't run the SATV version with Packouts?
