Bought a pioneer last week and was seeing if anyone found any alternatives to buying the honda windshield and roof? I just can't justify spending $400 on a windshield? Also planning to upsize to a 26" tire with 14" rim and would appreciate any feedback on how the pioneer should hand that combination if anyone has any experience.
The windshields are pretty pricey. But the 500 is so new I don't think anything else is available. You could always just make one yourself out of plexiglass.
I hear ya chadmassey, the genuine honda accessories are $$. Something tells me most manufactures make good money with accessories.
I went with the optical windshield and hard top roof with some hesitations myself.
I like the quality of both.

Our dealer gave us a 20% discount on all accessories. That took a little of the sting out of buying the top and windshield. The do fit nice together.

Try cheapcycleparts.com just bought the front cab for a 700-4 from them BIG price difference between them and dealer and NO TAX.
Plan on making an aluminum roof, got a buddy with a breaker and got storage situated, we hunt with dogs so I made a dog box with top storage
