Ok. So I have a ? I've noticed an odd noise in the drivetrain. Sounds like something is bent, no axels that I can tell are bent no marks on them. At slow rpm it will almost stop at the noise. Any ideals ?
I'm guessing the Maxx has a center driveshaft like the XMaxx? Any big jumps? The Traxxas bearings are known for being pretty crappy so it could be a stuck bearing as well.

Yes it does have the center shaft. No barely off the ground. I noticed it after it kind of barrel rolled in the grass not going very fast at all.

What replacement bearings would you recommend ?
I've always used Avid but I know the guy who owns the company and have raced with him for years. There are a ton of aftermarket bearing guys now though. I'm not sure if David (Avidracing.com) sells them in kits for the Maxx. He has mostly race-based stuff. I think FastEddy or something like that carries a lot of Monster Truck/Basher bearings from what I've seen on FB and stuff.

Check the wheel nuts too and the hexes. If they are loose at all or too tight they will bind

Installed? That's one killer paint job! I bet your Angel loves it! Stoped by the hobby shop to pick up a clear body, it was for the Gen 1 Night Crawler, went online and didn't find anything for the Gen 2? The more I think about it, the better I like the Zebra stripe idea, Smitty's Safari! HA!

FlySky radio is pretty damn good for $69.99. Threw this $17 servo in that had a ton of good reviews on Amazon. $149 Hobbywing ESC/Motor combo. Not bad, and the receivers for the radio are only $20 if we add more cars later.

So you got away from the 2.2?
I bought some 2.2's, but to be beneficial I need some 18mm or bigger hex extensions (stock are 6mm). I ordered the hexes before I ordered the tires and they are still in usps purgatory. They might show up one day. Been tuning mine for the 1.9's though

Current situation...

3D printed this bouncer body/chassis for the SCX24. It was a 13 hour print and it took me another hour or so to remove all the support print and clean it up.

Now I'm trying to figure out how this thing goes together

No way in Hades I'll ever catch up to your talent level! Or even close. That's cool! How durable will it be?

Ohhhh yes. Wish I had taken a picture of it next to the pile of support scrap. There was more material in the supports than the actual printed piece. Anything with an overhang needs a support otherwise you end up with a spaghetti monster as there is nothing for it to stick to.

Not mine, but this is usually the outcome if the supports fail or you don't remember to turn on the supports before you slice the .stl file:
