That's astounding! Did you say you took some pics along the process?
Yeah I was going to, but #1GS did it today while I was at work. The steps where as follows...
fit body.
we taped windows then cleaned with soap and water.
got a large tote and filled it with distilled water.
sprayed spray paint on surface in some kind of pattern.
then dipped the body starting with one side and rolling it roof down.
once dried sprayed the underneath with transparent silver.
the colors used where transparent purple
transparent silver and black.

Not sure how @Ridinfool did his, but that effect is pretty easy. Spray your primary color a little heavy and then take a plastic bag and press it into the wet paint and pull it off (you can use saran wrap, wadded up paper, whatever... you just want to remove the paint in a random pattern). Then back it with the black. That'll give it a marbled look.

Just saw you were doing it with the hydro-dip. Never done it like that before. Pretty cool.

I guess you could call our method redneck hydro dip.

Found a guy making these stainless front & rear diff skids for the Enduro on eBay for $12.99. They came in today and are good quality parts. I may have to grind down the squared edge if it hangs up:
