I measured the 2.2 I've got they are 5.50 tall and 2.25 wide there huge, the jury is out on if I can get these to work.

Oh you can definitely get them to work with some hub extensions:

Hot Racing Axial Wheel Hub Extensions w/12mm Hex (Black) (2) (+20mm) [HRASCX10TT01]

Hot Racing Axial 20mm Wheel Hub Extensions add 20mm to the track width of your Axial SCX10, SCX10 II, and Wraith Crawler. Features: Extends the... HRASCX10TT01

Those are 20mm extensions, you'd need 2 sets.

Your crawler uses the standard 12mm hex so those should work.

Trimming this Ram for painting is a b**** for me, I just mentioned that a Dremel tool would be easier to me in the tight spots and presto, the wife buys me a new Dremel!

Yeah, that is one of those things you get better at over time. It still sucks no matter how you do it though.

12mm Wheel Spacer Hex Hub Coupler 25mm Extension For 1/10 RC Crawler Scx10 D90 | eBay

Fit for: 1/10 RC Rc Crawler Scx10 Rc4wd Wraith D90 etc. It replaces the 12mm hex hubs with 25mm extension adapters. 4 x RC Hex Hub Extension Adapter. Makesure your 4 wheels use a 12mm hub already. Extensions fit over axles and secure to axles with included screw pins.

Well if the 20mm don't work, I'll give the 25mm a shot. With the 20mm it's going to put the outside track width 11.75 to 12.00, thats wide!

The hole in the thingy isn't large enough for the 12 mm hex think it's some kind of weird bling?
