Yes.

That being said I bought my brand new 1000-5 deluxe for $14k out the door in 2019, which is about $5k off retail at the time. ;)
Yeah those were the days. I just picked up a 24 Forest 1k-5 for 10 grand more than your deluxe with not much difference between the two but the I4WD a winch and the dealer included the oem roof. I bought at the wrong time. The 24’s were no longer being manufactured and the 25’s were yet to be announced so I had to pick from whatever was available in my area at the time. I had the option of getting the deluxe but my dealer gave me the forest model for $800 more than the deluxe. It was slim pickings.

Best investment you'll ever make 🤘😎
It was a barn find. Friend of mine bought a ranch a year ago. In the barn he found this Honda 300. It was dirty, 4 flat tires, no key. He didn't want it and asked me if I wanted it. "Hell yeah"! Went to his place, drug it onto my trailer and brought it home. Order a new ignition switch with key for $15.00. I put the switch in, some fresh gas and it fired right up! So we cleaned it up, changed all fluids, put new brakes on the front (rear was still good). Painted front and rear racks and put new tires on it.

Yeah, I was lucky but I did have to travel 700 miles one way for the deal I got and right now there are no discounts anywhere on them. My dealer said it takes him months to get a Honda. They only had one Pioneer when I was there the other day and it was sold. They are a pretty big dealer too. Probably won't see any discounts on Pioneers any time soon

Thats what kept reading (that they were best four wheeler made). Oh, and I put a new seat on it too. The factory seat was grey. Really like the black one. Picture of your's?

Mines the one on the right. It still had 3 of the original tires on it and they all were cracked real bad. I got lucky and found the other one for $500. I swapped the tires off and some other parts, then sold it to my local powersports repair shop for $500. It needed a little work but I really needed my $500 back and wanted to do a solid for them (good guys). I also prefer the black seat. I took the one off the parts wheeler - pretty sure its one of the $70 amazon ones. it is nice and comfy.

Mine was sort of an impulse buy and I don’t yet have a trailer. It was a rainy day while the wife and I were on vacation at our other house and I said we’ve been talking about getting one let’s go look. I have a dealer nearby that services our community that I already had a relationship with and thought it best to buy from him as they offer pickup and delivery to the house. He sells can am and Honda. I also have a can am max 850 outlander north edition so originally went to look at the can am commander max xt with the 1000 engine option. It was beautiful but the bed was too high and the bucket seats too low. Didn’t like getting in and out so we took the Honda for a spin around the lot and it just felt right. Dealer was telling me in August if I wanted the 25 pioneer he probably couldn’t get one until December or January.

The pioneer will treat you well. In 4300 miles on mine it hasnt given me a single problem outside of normal wear and tear. I ripped two CV boots, wore out the front brake pads. Other than that, just maintenance. And my primary use for the machine is work around my property. It has towed many tons of firewood through rough terrain, and countless other tasks. I've towed a commercial zero turn on a 6x12' trailer up and down the road several times. Does great. I never abuse it, but it definitely has been asked to pull it's weight - but it has to or I can't justify owning it!

I'm looking for a leftover '24 P1k5 model myself....they have bonus bucks on them.
Yeah I think there was $1500 on mine as well and I bought it the last week of August 2024. I was in that in between spot where no more 24 were being manufactured and the 25’s weren’t announced. I think I got in on the rebate the first week it was offered.

I’m planning on using mine in a similar way you describe as well. I just installed the new KFI 6 ft plow for the PA winters. I’m confident in my purchase and expect years of trouble free riding.

Yep, I'm in northwest PA and have a plow with mine. They should make a reasonably priced 7' plow for these. They will push a 6' plow so easily. I had a KFI previously on my 500 and they are really nice. I needed a bigger plow for the 1000 and went the cheapest route, Tusk from Rocky mountain. It's been totally fine, though in the last few years I really haven't had much snow to push. I've used it a couple times this year. Tusk doesn't make a mount for the Ridge so I'm keeping my Pioneer mount, and ordered a KFI mount for the ridge - I'll be "marrying" them together so I can use my old plow on the new machine. Just can't see spending more to get a new plow.

I’m in NE PA a stones throw across the Delaware is NY. Weather changes by the minute up there. I still have my can am outlander 850 max north edition with kfi 5ft plow and thought the kfi 5 footer on that served me well so kept it kfi and what I I’m used to. Dealer gave me the whole setup mount, push tube and 6 ft steel plow for about $850. I’m sure he gave me about 100-150 off what I could have gotten online delivered.

My jeep patriot is a cvt, Hyundai drive train I believe. That ruined me on belt drives for anything other than a snowmobile. That jeep has a terrible rubber band effect if the rpms are low but just not quite enough to downshift. Lots of bucking and jerking. It also loses a tremendous amount t of torque through that system, it's the biggest gutless wonder I've ever driven. If I wouldn't have inherited it I never would have got it...
