Just picked up a 2016 P500 yesterday. Started with the Hardtop, Hardcoat Windshield, MTA wheels and Tires. I can already tell this is just the beginning.

Husky tool box and strongmade basket... I still miss that setup now on the 1000.

Congrats!

You are right about it being just the beginning...lol! I just got a 700-2...it has one mile on it and has $3,500 in extras already and I'm still not done, but am ready to get to riding!

Good luck with all the upgrades...It looks great so far! Keep posting those pics for all to see!

Yep, you'll be 12-14K deep before you know it. Nice looking ride, welcome to the forum!

Where did you guys mount the relays. I will pick up main power from the battery and switch power from a accessory sub harness.

I received relays with all of my LEDs. Not saying they wouldn't work without them but can't hurt.
Right. They are a good idea as they relieve the switches. I used the supplied relays on everything I installed except the back up lights because they're on such short intervals.

My thought process is it's always better if there are less items to fail.. obviously heavy amps on a switch isn't great. So anything above 15 amps I've decided to use a relay. Switches are often cheaper than relays and I've got an old Willys jeep that doesn't have a relay one and everything works great! I just prefer to keep things simple. The small 18watt leds are only pulling an amp and a half each.. so 3 amps is totally unnecessary for a relay on a good 20 amp switch.

I'm not sure if it is evident, but I used an aluminum mount (linked on another thread) and it is rock solid.

The volt meter also has dual USB chargers under the rubber cover. I varified with my volt meter. Dead on. I do love duplicity.
