Those wheels look nice.
What are your plans for a cargo bed?
Those don't need relays..
I have two cubes and a 30" led bar running off the accessory wiring harness (as well as back-up cubes). Nothing has blown yet.I received relays with all of my LEDs. Not saying they wouldn't work without them but can't hurt.
Right. They are a good idea as they relieve the switches. I used the supplied relays on everything I installed except the back up lights because they're on such short intervals.I received relays with all of my LEDs. Not saying they wouldn't work without them but can't hurt.
My thought process is it's always better if there are less items to fail.. obviously heavy amps on a switch isn't great. So anything above 15 amps I've decided to use a relay. Switches are often cheaper than relays and I've got an old Willys jeep that doesn't have a relay one and everything works great! I just prefer to keep things simple. The small 18watt leds are only pulling an amp and a half each.. so 3 amps is totally unnecessary for a relay on a good 20 amp switch.I received relays with all of my LEDs.
