I have had a grey hood for my ‘01 R LV in order for 60 days from partszilla. Anyone have one for sale? Prefer grey but can deal with another color if nothing else turns up. Thanks

Sold mine original grey one to @PhilCod a few weeks ago. Red is faster!

Order part # 61300-HL6-A00ZE for a Matte Gray hood with no decals, theyve got plenty of them.

Then if you have to have the decals, order these 2 numbers. 1 each, they also have plenty of them.

86621-HL6-A50ZA

The hood with the graphics installed is B/O with no eta.

Sounds like you guys that lose your hoods on the highway should write with permeant marker your phone # and message stating you are offering a reward on the underside?

I would agree. However mine wasn’t quite that simple. My wife and I rolled the Talon down a 150’ hill/mountain 15 times landing about 75yds away being airborne a couple times. I was life-delighted from the scene, she was taken by ambulance. Good Samaritans got my machine back to the truck, and a buddy picked it up a few days later. I didn’t see it until a week later after I got home from the hospital. The hood and windshield were missing.🤷🏼‍♂️

Dayum… Being that you are here posting I have to assume you guys are ok-ish. How did you guys fare through that accident though? Any pics of the machine? I have to wonder what it looks like after all that.

We were ok, we have all our fingers and toes. I had a little blood on the brain for a while (what stayed in . The Lord was on our side that day, wasn’t our time. The custom cage and harnesses saved us. In all honesty the Talon faired pretty well. For the 40 or so people that saw it, we should have been dead, it was a freak accident for sure.

I will give you a before and after of the buggy.
