Mayhem on the Mountain - September 28th, 2024​

Okay fellow parents (or kids at heart), the Mom ride is coming up quickly. I was thinking out loud with some other forum peeps about something fun to do with the kids. At other big group rides like Takeover or Mom, we have had water gun fights and most recently a dunk tank.

Thinking about having a nerf war with the kids. Just basic single shot nerf guns and lots of darts for the kids. Sooo if your kids will be there and this is something you would be interested in. Let’s talk about making some fun happen for the young ones (or the young at heart).

If “adults” arm themselves with the biggest and baddest nerf blasters available and go after the kids….I am already in support of that too!

For the record…there was an epic battle fought for several hours and caused a tremendous amount of laughter.

That was this morning around 10am cleanup effort of lost darts from Saturday night’s shenanigans.

I found one in my jacket hood this morning 🤦‍♀️🤣

Also, I'm very disappointed you found that many. Me and my niece picked up a plastic grocery bag worth this morning around 8:30 am. I knew I should have done another sweep when she said she got all of the ones on her side.

We found most (probably half or more) of them in one area of the grass beyond where JE’s buggy had been parked. The rest were pretty scattered around. I was honestly surprised we didn’t find more but obviously you guys had already got most of them. #NTCTeamEffort!
