I'm sure there is a thread on here about what to carry with you on a ride and it can depend on a lot of factors.

My question is, what are the things you have stored on your vehicle that never leave? The absolute essentials for you to safely go trail riding for 1 day?

The only thing I have for sure is vehicle recovery gear. (Snatch block, pulley, straps, d-ring, gloves)

I carry small air compressor/ tubeless tire plugs/glue. Spare tire and small jack/wheel wrench. I also carry a asst.of sockets and wrenches. some electrical tape and some wire.Pliers/side cutters small knife.Bow saw. First aid kit. hammer, 100' of extra cable with hooks on each end. couple tow straps. extra glooves extra jacket. I have a box in the back of my Pioneer that stays in it all the time, that I keep everything in. Winter riding I carry a shovel plus dress for the elements. I always ride with two machines for safety reasons.Been on quite a few rides were there's always someone who needs help due to them not having anything to repair and inflate a tire. Mechanical break downs can happen ,but thats a whole different thing. Best is cell phone [providing there's cell coverage] we very seldom have that were we ride.

I think I've said this before.

You don't ride with Hondas do you?

I have started carrying the same stuff because someone is always broken down. Never me but always a Polaris, Bennech, Yamaha, or Kawasaki.

Usually ride with a solo machine. May have passengers but I'm close enough at most local parks it's only an hour or so walk if I can't fix it.

I have a spare stock rim coming in today or tomorrow. Gonna mount one of my stock tires on it and mount it on my P5. Just gotta put a jack somewhere. After that, a little first aid and I think I'll be ok.
I'm using a front rim and tire with the thought that it would be the most versatile to use on either the front or back if needed.

Will a foreman rim fit on a pioneer? Do they have the same bolt pattern?

The bolt pattern is the same. But the off-set is not.
Also, lug nuts are different size.

Slowdryrider made a good list - I would add a water filter, fire starter and a combat tourniquet for the first aid kit.
