Looking into a battery warmer for those (all too soon to arrive) cold days coming.
I see some blanket type (e.g. KAT) of varied legnths. Thinking of a 28 or 36in.
Anyone use one on a P500 or foreman?
Im wondering if I could wrap the whole battery box, control the unit with a thermo plug?
When its time to ride, take it off and go?
Thoughts?

cool!
Thanks for the reply.
I have a float charger.
This looks like the heater will fit on the side or bottom in the battery box.
Just need to connect the leads to the terminal ends from the float charger.
Is the 12-14v from the charger enough to power the heater? Mfg site indicates the source (transfomer) as 18v.
It gets well below 0 some days where my P500 is, this will do the trick there?

wrong link...edited it check it out now.

You will need to hook it to the battery.
The float charger will keep the battery charged.

I have one on our gate, a 45wsolar panel keeps the battery charged.

Sub-Zero.....No thank you!!!

I am in Alabama, I have no experience with Sub-Zero Temps, only gone below zero here once in my lifetime and twice since 1890s Keeps the battery strong in the 10s-20s that's as cold as it gets here.

going to give this a try, just ordered from the gatecrafters company you had a link to first. It was like $15 cheaper and free shipping!
