Corrosion on the terminals is due to hydrogen gas being released from the acid in the battery. It mixes with other things in the atmosphere under the hood and produces the corrosion you see on the terminals. Generally, if the corrosion is occurring on the negative terminal, your system is probably undercharging. Clean it with WD-40 and it should be good

I ended up going to my local auto parts store and the ran a test and said the battery if fine. So I cleaned the crap outta it and sprayed it with CRC battery terminal protectant.
I also researched the Red tops and from what I gather they are a bit over rated.
