I have a Honda pioneer 1000 and I actually called seismic directly. They told me that it will not fit on the 2022??? Super confusingThat’s weird! All I’ve heard is that it won’t fit on a 2022 Including from the factory. I would really prefer the siezmik except for the price.
that’s why I crossed that one off my list, rough country will be here tomorrowwhile it folds down you still cant shut the tailgate and have the seats up.
Thanks for the pics and info!Just purchased and installed the Kemimoto bed extender. And while it folds down you still cant shut the tailgate and have the seats up. During install you have to remove the tailgate briefly. The instructions suck but if you remove the inner rear panel on the driver side you can slide the rear out enough to remove the tailgate. PIA to install but works and looks great. Mine is a 2022 View attachment 367741View attachment 367742
Did you get the rough country yet? Any pictures? What’s the quality like?that’s why I crossed that one off my list, rough country will be here
Thank you!Works well folded & unfolded with the rear seats up and down. There will likely be some rattles as mentioned before, but only with the tailgate closed. mainly due to the the cable extender design.
The cables themselves don’t hold any weight with the extender side rails locked in place. The sides lock into the factory cable bolts which makes the cable extension bracket/bar a little floppy with the tailgate closed

It’s probably because they haven’t tested it on a 22 yet, so won’t say it’ll fit, I bet it gets updated to fit at some point by them. That’s weird! All I’ve heard is that it won’t fit on a 2022 Including from the factory. I would really prefer the siezmik except for the price.
Thanks for the detailed photos and review. I think this will fit my needs well with a nice compact design so I have pulled the trigger and ordered one! Finally got around to installing the Rough Country bed extender. Overall I think I’ll be happy with it. The directions were a bit vague in some areas and the hardware call outs were not 100% correct but I got it figured out.

Install tips, you only need to remove the plastic from the bed on the drivers side, the first brackets attached to the tail gate have some wiggle room, make sure the tail gate closes, if not loosen them a bit and adjust to clear the bed. Also, the flange nuts go to the bolts for the clamp brackets (first 8x25 bolts used). And lastly, the tailgate cable uses the stock hardware and the new bolt, washers, etc go on the very bottom where it attaches to the new bracket. Thanks for the detailed photos and review.
