Is this just an assembly plant with the parts all being manufactured elsewhere?

I'll have to dig into it. But they do make many of the parts there. But some are sourced also.

I think they weld frames and cages here as well, maybe some engine assembly.

My DSM says they actually have a hard time keeping workers for whatever reason?!

I know the P1K engines are shipped from japan, I've got tags that were still attached to the engine when they arrived at our dealer that had Japanese writing on it.

That was really cool. Would have liked to have seen more. Very similar to the Harley plant in York Pennsylvania. They make frames, tanks, and fenders there. Most everything else is brought in then assembled into a finished bike. Harley does tours, wonder if Honda does as well.

Having worked in a Honda factory for 20+ years I can attest to the fact that this work isn't for everyone but they do switch jobs every 2hours.

I had a few quality control problems with my 20181000-5 LE, things like the air intake coupling on the bottom pipe headed back yo the filter was loose, it had water mark drips the day I took it off meaning it was leaking!
