P1000 BigHorn 2.0 special for Honda

Are the 27" Big Horn Maxxis 2.0 special for honda? I have looked around looking for the weight of them and can only find 26" and 28".

I got the same impression when I was pricing out the advantages to getting the Deluxe or buying the standard and upgrading wheels.

I have also read elsewhere that they aren't really 27", they are actually 26" but depending on how you measure them they "can" read 27" so for marketing purposes, they are called 27".

I don't know which is true.

They are specially made for Honda.

From my own experience, they will measure 25 1/2 inches up to 27 inches depending on inflation pressure.

I like the 2.0s that came on my 1kp-5 deluxe. For my purposes they seem perfect.

Thanks guys. Was looking at Ripsaws, they look great. But in 28" there is only 1 size, 10x14

Also, I'll have to look at mine and see if they read 26" or 27". Haven't looked, just going by website

4 ply is a Honda thing with Maxxis. Not wise to run mixed sets either. One or other. Some change to 6 ply right away. 4ply just like stock atv tires.
