Why is the 700 so much cooler than the 1000???

I have been thinking of it for some time now...but more to collect the heat for winter..in summer hot rides I lay a blanket behind me on seat and I have pipe foam cut in half that I put under seat in front where it cooks my legs a little.It really eliminates it..

No Need...It's " COOL " If you wanted to put some reflective material under there somewhere, I guess you could...
