I posted this on Honda Canada Facebook site. Travelling at 11km/hr and this stick penetrated the firewall/wheel-well like a hot knife through butter.

Wow, that's incredible. That's like the guy who drove into the end of a gate made from drill pipe and came thru a truck firewall and impaired r him. He did survive.

This is a real safety issue on these machines. Whose bright idea was plastic fenderwells and floorboards anyway? I've almost stuck limbs through the floorboard on mine.

Same thing happened to me on Sunday’ caught my calf muscle and left a wound. I’m new on here, are there mods available to prevent this?View attachment 211582View attachment 211585
Hard to tell in the pic but it looks like the limb is cut off cleanly at an angle. I'm not saying metal wouldn't have prevented this but with enough force a spear will still penetrate. I took a hard hit in this area on the pass side and it cracked my plastic there but didn't penetrate. The limb I hit was about this size.
