Here is another way for under ten bucks. Ebay... losen dash bolts, tuck material between plastic layers and done in ten minutes.

I've seen that on here. They did the other shifter also. If what I made doesn't work that my next go to. I even have and local buddy that works at the leather shop that took measurements on mine and was going to look at making one and he had to have open heart and has went back to work yet. I told him if he made something nice we could maybe sell a few on here.

Looking at the parts diagram for the 22 shows a rubber piece in there now. Maybe it would be able to install on older models if you can get the part. It's too bad that Montana quite selling them, because they worked really well and was easy to install. I bought one for a friend of mine and he loves it. I guess all good things have to come to an end.

Cool deal! Did you just order from an online supplier? If so, sure would appreciate a link.
Thanks!

Can you send the link to the page diagram? Which part number is the rubber piece?

I ordered from hondapartsking.
Ordered that and 22 cup holders. Which appear to be on infinite back order.

Interesting. Is that foam or felt? Will it fit in a 21 model? Is it modeled or glue to a piece? Have any Ideas? I think my tire intertube I made will work OK. Not as good as that but if you did these your gona have to remove the dash, correct?

It is a piece of rubber with an applied flocking.

I believe you can access by lifting dash, but not removing it completely. I was installing a @highpocket74 /10-80 dirtsports shift plate and new dash. I might try to install it this off season.

I believe it is part number 23 in this picture. Thanks @Neohio for adding the pictures. It might take a little fitting but it looks like it could work for the older models. I would be curious how it attaches to the 22 shifter plate? I tried to make my own a few years ago by 3d printing a piece and using some neoprene style of material. It worked for the awhile but finally wore out. The material that Montana was using for his worked very well and has stood up to the constant abuse of shifting over the years. Like I said I bought one for a friend a few years ago and it has worked well. It was finally starting to wear out, so I got a couple replacement rubbers from Montana. I should probably put 1 up for a souvenir if he is no longer selling them. It might come in handy some day.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Part 23. If my little set doesn't workout, since it was free, I'm going to look a little deeper at this. Again, thanks for the info.

Have you had a chance to install the dash shifter rubber yet?
No I haven't. I doubt I will get it installed until November, or after plow season.

The air doesn't bother me. I only ordered the piece because I had the dash off. I wouldn't buy it and install it by itself.
