I hate to "rain on the parade" literally I guess... But is this gonna b rain or shine sat cause I think the remnants of that hurricane are supposed to b here in a day or two and not move out til sat some time. I know those creeks down there get dangerous if not impassible during heavy rains.

If we meet at the southern entrance there is a Plan B if the creek is too high.

I'm not afraid of a little shower here and there but what if it's real bad? Push off until Sunday?

By the way, we will probably make "the loop". It will be nasty with all the rain. Be prepared for scratches, dents on the skids and mud everywhere!

Sat only day we could get a sitter and it's half a day. Lol. Oldest son is baby sitting a bit. I got a roof and windshield for a reason but I got enough smarts to stay off muddy trails in a flood. Hey no smart ass comments from you @Yankee either...

The loop isn't dangerous in a flood. Just muddy. Very very very muddy lol. And a helluva lot of fun!

Some mud can be avoided...some can't. If anyone wants to become a "renegade", I've got one sticker but you got to make the loop without going around obstacles.

I don't plan on going around any obstacles and I expect to need the winch! Should be an awesome day if Harvey doesn't take a leak on us.

My wife is the one in the passenger seat saying "you got this, hit that mud hole, it ain't bad". I ain't scared of mud either but have no intentions on tearing my rig up.

Avoiding obstacles would require you forfeiting your man card lol. It is very fun. Deep mud. Lots of trees around to winch plus lots of friends with tow straps.
