Hello
First time post
Been reading and a lot of good info here.
Still not sure what size machine to get but am leaning toward a 500 for its smaller footprint. Looking to haul wood, plow snow, other work around house and some trail riding.
Would it be better to get this 15 with all the extras or go with a 18 r 19 that’s only 3 r 600 more that has no extras with automatic?
Thx

Welcome to the club.
Nice looking rig there.
How much do you want an automatic?
500's are bulletproof. So unless it been sunk it should be a great ride.

Wouldn’t think auto would be really necessary. Ride a Harley. Reading in the forums how some like auto at certain times. The 15 only has 550 miles so should be good. Thx Hondasxs

Did I understand you right?

The 19 is $600 more than the 15?

I would start by getting an "out the door" price with the accessories that you "WANT".
Then compare to the 15.

BTW: how many miles are on the 15?

I would find a cheaper one and do the modification you want vs. accepting someone else idea of accessories. As you know, the unit has been on craigslist for 20 days, so it's no real deal and there are better options out there around the 6K mark and do what you want to them, my option and 2 time owner of a P500....

I did see one for 6k. Just thinking if the 3k for upgrades they did look good to me plus 6k for the other would be more.
I mostly prefer to buy something the way I’m good with

Welcome. 2015 vs 2017+ seems a personal preference, but do like the 2017+ for the chores as it auto downshifts when slowing down or goes to 2nd when stopping, regardless if in auto or manual mode. Hardly ever use 1st. You may have seen this comparison thread already. P500 - Pioneer 500: 2016 vs 2017.
Good luck, the P500 seems a good fit for your use. Don’t plow, but like my aftermarket power steering, guys with plows might chime in.

I was recently faced with a similar situation. I opted for a 2018 demo model with a full tip out windshield and soft top. I was also looking at a 2016 with roughly the same options plus rims, tires and a winch. I choose the newer one based partly on the the vibe I got from the seller/dealer, but also because I thought the auto would be more useful for my family. I figured my retired parents might like to use it when it's out at their property, and it would be easier for my wife and children to drive. Just go with what feels right! Whatever you choose, I'm sure everyone here will want pics!!

id get something else if 500. just make sure you check it out, a lot of people like the 500 but I'm a bigger guy and the 500 was too small for me to work In boots and be comfortable getting in and out. I just went to the dealer and we sat in them, its worth the couple grand extra to me to get the stuff you need like big dumping bed locker and bunch of storage for trail stuff you don't get with the 500. both will plow but wood will be better and my daughter and wife can drive it fine if its auto don't have to worry, also steers pretty easy I thought id add aftermarket if they couldn't but its fine even with 27s
