When ever, before or after although looking for land is a priority at this point. I was thinking about starting a thread at some point too
Very well. Start a thread when you get ready and we’ll go from there. Will be fun.

Are you freakin kidding me. What do you need a tear drop for. Good lord, that’s better than anything I think I’ve seen. You’ve really got it going on there with that. Libby, what a truly beautiful place with that gorgeous Kootenai River!!
Thanks but, it doesn't haul the pioneer

Lol, I’m talking about the Pioneer hauling it. Could you not use your Pioneer to haul that on a cross country over the Mugruder Corridor?

It'd be a bit heavy with all the mods I added. Plus it's history as I already sold it. It was the last of 5 different Military trailers I've owned.

M116a2 Generator trailer for 5-10k gensets
M101A2 (X2) Cargo trailers
M116A1 Pioneer Tool Trailer from Viet Nam era.
M416 Jeep Trailer.
I think most including the latter would've been to heavy or bulky for a pioneer. All have a Pintle/Lunette ring style hitch as well.

I think 100acre is referring to while pulling a trailer and he's right it is 55 max. Without a trailer most highways are 65 and portions of the interstate are 70
Yep, that’s what my bro said. Thank you T!!

Oh hell, how could you let such a thing go? That was sweet. So we’re back to you needing a tear drop. :D:D:D

Nice but yeah, military grade is well and heavy built, I can see that could be a bit much for a Pioneer. Real cool stuff you’ve owned in the course of time though!!

I still have my truck camper. After I decide wether to buy a P1000 vs a Talon vs land, then I'll look into a teardrop. otherwise if I knew the trails were fairly level, I'd look into some sort of a roof top tent for the Pioneer.

Haha, land must come first, then a Pioneer 1000, IMO. The Talon’s not going to be that great for doing the kind of trek we’ve been talking about here. And we know the trails won’t be level.

There’s an unimproved road like that over here, starts at the Colorado line and runs south east for 60 miles through the Santa Fe National Forest following a river for about a third of the way, with camping along it, the last 5-6 miles it goes through Ted Turners Vallejo Ranch and ends at Cimarron New Mexico. I intend to do it both ways with the SXS and tear drop.
Never heard of this?! Any pics?
