Ready to put some sound in my 700-4. I was at the dealership and they had a used 700 with a Drive Unlimited roof mount enclosure. A little obtrusive but it was plenty loud. I think I'd like a 20in or so sound bar to mount on the front roll bar faced into the cab of course. Wet Sounds makes a stealth 6, mtx has one...what else should I be looking at. Any issues with the ones I mentioned? Reviews on both seem about 50/50. Would like to stay in the 450-600 range. The drive unlimited system is around 600ish depending on options. thanks

Went quick and cheap on our Wolverine and decided the Boss brrc34 would work. I’ve heard many and this was about as good as any I’ve heard sound. Pretty hard to get good sounds from that small of a speaker but it’s not too bad.
Wasn’t a fan of Boss but has some nice features, connects good and pressure washer doesn’t seem to effect it.

I have the PowerBass XL-800 and I’m impressed with it for its size. Mine was facing the driver when I got it and I relocated it to middle bar facing straight down and the sound is 10x better. Whatever you get play with mounting options before you mount it permanently. I would love to try the XL-1200 but it’s hard to complain about the 800

That place is commonly under water in my Honda, would the sub survive that? That’s the only reason I haven’t added one somewhere
@joeymt33 can speak to that better than I can I try to avoid water in the floorboard if at all possible. I don’t play in the mud/water

Seems to do well there. I have got moisture in it before but that was probably due to having a lunch stop in the water with it playing music for half an hour.

Awesome. I will look into a setup now that I think it will survive. Seen a couple of Kicker 8” tubes that seemed good but needed separate amp.

I’m in south GA so mud and water about all we have to play in :D

You can always remove the panel and speaker and apply some non-curing silicone for sealant. I forgot that I did that. Also throw some desiccant bead packs in the bottom of the enclosure. Check it maybe once or twice a year, that’s what I do.

The WetSounds is LOUD & clear, and small footprint for the bar itself.
